Dear Editor,

I would like to say a big thank you to David Sargent, STP Cleaning, Mike Rawlins of Elecmech, and Revel for their donations to the new Pucklechurch Majorettes. Their kind donations help to pay for CRB checks, insurance, and new pom-poms.

We currently have 37 members and a waiting list with more eager to join. If any child aged 6 and over would like to go on the waiting list, please don't hesitate to call me on 937 3606.

Please may I take this opportunity through the Pucklechurch News to thank everyone who has sent me cards, flowers and good wishes after my recent (long!) stay in Frenchay Hospital. It was great to know so many people were thinking of me. I am getting stronger by the day and am able to get around a little now!

May I remind everyone that the large blue rubbish bin in the car park of the community centre is for the use of social club and community centre, not for the general public to put their rubbish.
