No activities of interest/not inviting!

Cafe and cinema
No activities for teenagers (cinema/gym)
No facilities
I need day time activities suitable for someone with a disability who is under 50 years old
I think a building with a couple more rooms of varying sizes would be great
Attend activities elsewhere
Redevelopment important but no need for another building - The current building is ugly, cold, drab and does not take advantage of the perfect view across the rec.
It is already suitable - no time sto spare, Current building modern and sufficient - no need for updating it. Seems very extravagant - what's wrong with it.
No lift for disabled people
No appropriate groups
very poor range of quality spaces
The centre only caters for organised clubs/events - it needs to be more flexible
I do not want to shell out more of my hard earned money on higher council tax for this nonsense.
The club I joined a year ago has only had one meeting
Nothing of interest would like afternoon or early evenings re dark and getting home.
children use scout hut and we use for discos. The current set up is good so a waste of money to change
I do use it but facilities are not really suitable more smaller rooms with winodws would be much more user - friendly
More sports facilities please!! The hall has quite limited uses. No stage for drama group. Quite windowless and depressing look of building to be honest. Not very inviting. Floodlit 5 a side course. If the PPC is up for a challenge along with the community and can get the funding then I agree redevelop or pull it down and start again - it is a godawful looking building to be brutally honest.
The main hall is too large for WI group and too expensive
I am engaged in other activities
A one storey building would be far better and give the residents a better view over the recreation field. Also a one storey building would ensure disabled facilities could be available for the social club.
A single storey would be much better
Too busy doing other things
encourages disruption to peaceful village life
Slightly run down, unappealing
I am conecrned that some proposals would mean we were unable to play Badminton i.e. would make less use of the hall.
I don't belong to any of the groups that use the hall. I only go to the hall for a specific event.
Lack of awarness of programmes and events. Have to drive from Shortwood, Mangotsfield is walkable.
Limited facilities and unsightly
It is a very unwelcoming building that doesn't have any warmth. The club which I use during cricket needs a complete refurbishment. The activities are not well advertised. This is an area that could be well used to bring the youth and elder residents of the village to do creative things such as dance, art, computing.
We believe in these days of cut backs. That money should be spent wisely. Not just to facilitate change
No current activities interest me
condition of bar
No gym
This survey should allow for comments. The outside of the hall is currently offputting, a few shrubs etc to soften the huge brick wall would create a better effect. The stark metal fenced area is prison-like. The inside spacious and multi-purpose. The idea to have the entrance and windows facing the rec is thought-provoking and sensible, apart from rogue footballs and cricket balls, etc. 24-hour visible paid staff will be needed to ward off potential vandalism which in the past has cost so much from a very limited budget. Makeover Committee is still very vague and there is nothing concrete to look at, even after about three years in existence. It will be impossible to meet everyone's needs.
Needs to be more exercise classes
it is not 'user friendly', as a Cricket Pavilion it has good changing rooms and nothing more, no facilities to sit (sheltered) and watch the cricket, drink and eat the 'tea' etc etc etc. The lack of windows on the ground floor makes it very unattractive both internally and externally....quite clastrophobic!
No real reason, just to many other social commitments
The village hall is a must in pucklechurch to bring the community together.
nothing very interesting happens there. Social club prob OK but being on my own now I don't go to clubs or pubs
Old fashioned and uninviting.
Lack of knowledge of groups / lack of groups that interest me/ lack of non-group activities at the Pucklechurch Village Community Centre.
Dark surroundings, bar upstairs, unfriendly building.
cost of social activities. my daughter uses the youth club there and it would be nice to have a club or facility for them to use every day of the week not just once a week..
Time
Nothing of interest.
My particular needs not currently catered for
Fairly new to the community, bit 'shy' perhaps.
worse than prison, no modern uses for youth ( gymn, cinema, well designed spaces for parties, cafe as meeting place)
Nothing. I think we are very lucky to have such a good facility. I have attended many events (parties, pantomime etc); I just do not use it regularly. Where would the £3m come from. If there is money available, there are other things to spend it on. Eg buy the derelict church and make a garden, buy the post office and employ someone to continue to run it.
Poor, outdated facilities. little availability for new activities. no atmosphere. spaces not suited to many activities. history of violence. looks like prison. no views onto field. no disabled access to upstairs. hidden from road, no external lighting so petentially dangerous on dark nights.shabby appearance with recycling making a mess.
I am not a member of any groups but I do use the Centre from time to time. I would like to say 'Don't know' to Q 7 but unfortunately this option is not available!
DO NOT FIND THE CURRENT FACILITIES OF INTEREST
No need. Please let me comment here as there is no where else in this survey: I would love to have a new £3M community centre, however with many village organisations struggling for committed people, it does not seem an appropriate use of resources to spend many years fundraising for such a building. Also please also consider the opportunities from better community use of the school post-rebuild. I see that some of the problem is that the community centre is physically separate from school, church, scout hut, doctors' surgery. Only if some of these could be brought together would we have really community benefit.
It's not a very welcoming building
